Earlier, the State Department of the State announced the revocation of visas from Brazilian and former PAHO (Pan American Organization) authorities who have acted in hiring Cuban doctors in the program.
“We always denounce that this program was nothing more than a financing of the Cuban dictatorship by the PT government, with the money from the Brazilian taxpayer,” says the senator.
He says the Cubans would not be doctors because they did not have what they were “forced to return 70% of their salaries to the Cuban dictatorship.” “An excrescence,” he says.
“As soon as Jair Bolsonaro took over the presidency of the Republic in 2019, the Cuban dictatorship itself ordered everyone to return to Cuba,” he says. “The US government shows how people who collaborate with dictatorships who disrespect human rights should be treated.”
