A Ge TV is a project of Rede Globo, using the Globo Esporte seal, which marks the entrance of the station in a format totally aimed at the digital public. This is a sports channel that will be transmitted exclusively by Youtube, with the proposal to compete directly with platforms such as Cazétv, offering free, live and language adapted to the online universe.
The goal is to conquer mainly the younger audiences, betting on presenters and narrators who already have a strong presence on social networks and sports streaming. Even “medallions” have been hired and will be able to follow with their channels and social networks active. Globo wants these professionals to follow with great relevance on the web.
GE TV aims to offer a varied range of attractions: transmissions of sporting events, participation of influencers, pre and post-game coverage and interactive content with fans. There are negotiations to include NFL games on Sundays. It is also possible that championships already licensed by Globo are part of the grid. At least one Brasileirão game would be displayed for freeas Cazétv already does.
Still with no official release date, GE TV emerges as one of the main bets of the carioca station to expand its acting in the digital sports, joining the strength of Globo’s brand with the proximity that the public expects from new media.

Four big names of competitors go to GE TV: TNT Sports narrator Jorge Iggor, TNT Sports commentator Bruno Formiga, ESPN host Mariana Spinelli and Band and Prime Video commentator Luana Maluf.

The channel will also feature Fred Bruno, host of Globo Esporte and former disregard, to bring the project closer to the new generation of spectators. Fred has been in Grupo Globo since August 2024.
