The channel is a project of Rede Globo, using the Globo Esporte seal, which marks the entry of the station in a shape totally aimed at the digital public. Globo’s project will start with heavy competitions. The station will put Libertadores on GE TV in the quarterfinals. The games available on GE TV will be the same as being aired on open TV. GE TV on YouTube’s broadcast team will be different from the open TV team.
In addition to the confirmed broadcasts of some World Cup and Libertadores qualifiers, GE TV negotiates with NFL and should also invest in Olympic sports.
