Bruno Formiga (former TNT Sports), Mariana Spinelli (former-SEPN) and Luana Maluf (former Band and Amazon) are other hires of GE TV so far.
The channel is a project of Rede Globo, using the Globo Esporte seal, which marks the entry of the station in a shape totally aimed at the digital public. This is a sports channel that will be transmitted exclusively by Youtube, with the proposal to compete directly with platforms such as Cazétv, offering free, live and language adapted to the online universe.

Globo’s project will start with heavy competitions. The station will put Libertadores on GE TV in the quarterfinals. The games available on GE TV will be the same as being aired on open TV. GE TV on YouTube’s broadcast team will be different from the open TV team.
In addition to the confirmed broadcasts of some World Cup and Libertadores qualifiers, GE TV negotiates with NFL and should also invest in Olympic sports.
