Defender Rafael Toloi, 34, is close to hitting his return to Sao Paulo. The player should take exams later this Thursday (14/08). The information is from “GE”.
According to the publication, the player will sign a contract only by the end of 2026. The bond, however, allows automatic renewal by 2027 if the athlete can score established goals.

Toloi has been in the sights of Sao Paulo since the athlete left Atalanta at the end of his bond. The club and the defender, however, had not reached a salary agreement.
The salary that the athlete will receive, however, was not disclosed. In Atalanta, according to the specialized website “Capology”, Toloi received about $ 1.1 million per month.
Without acting since May, the tendency is for the player to have a preseason, and can be in a physical transition period for up to one month.
Toloi was sold to Atalanta in 2015. The defender stayed at the Italian club for ten seasons until he was free at the market at the end of the 2024/25 European season.

The defender won only one title for Tricolor: the 2012 South American Cup. The athlete was Lucas Moura’s companion in the competition won by the team against the Tigre, Argentina.
Toloi also defended Italy’s national team after being naturalized across the country, beating the 2020 Euro for the European team.
