Who is Rochet, Inter goalkeeper?
Sergio Rochet, 32, is the owner of Internacional shirt 1 and one of the colorado cast leaders. A native of Nueva Palmira, in Uruguay, the goalkeeper built a solid career, marked by tickets in Europe and prominent in his home country before arriving in Porto Alegre.
Formed in the base categories of Danubio, he drew attention early and, in 2014, left for the Netherlands Az Alkmaar. Then he acted at Türkiye’s Savasspor and returned to Uruguayan football in 2019 to defend the National, where he established himself as a multi -champion.
In the middle of 2023, Rochet decided to wear Inter’s shirt, signing a contract until December 2026. The choice was surrounded by expectations and soon in its early months, it became a key piece, starring in decisive defenses in the Libertadores and helping the team to advance in the knockout.
For the Uruguayan team, Rochet debuted in 2022 and won the title at the Qatar World Cup, when he stood out especially by defending a penalty against Ghana. Since then, he has kept his number 1 goalkeeper of Celeste, accumulating more than 30 games with the Uruguay shirt.
The 2024 season and the beginning of 2025, however, were marked by physical challenges. Rochet suffered from a knee tendinosis and, already in the 2025 Brasileirão, fractured his hand, undergoing surgery and being away for months.
The return took place in July, and he returned at a high level: in the victory over Vitória, he recorded 94% of defenses. After that, he played in seven games, two of them for the Brazil Cup.

Rochet: Value and Contract Time
The goalkeeper has a contract with Inter until December 2026. According to the sports transfers site, Transfermarkt, the goalkeeper is currently worth 3.5 million euros. In reais, the value would be equivalent to R $ 22.1 million.
