Trump’s meeting with Putin at the military base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage in Alaska should start on Friday at 21.30 CEST. Ušakov added that the summit will begin with a conversation of both presidents, which will take place in one -to -one format with the participation of interpreters.

This will be followed by negotiations as part of delegations that will continue during working breakfast. It is expected that the central topic of the interviews will be “The settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, even with regard to the discussion held in the Kremlin 6th August with the participation of the special ambassador of US President Steve Witkoff,” He said the Ušakov. However, the interview will also cover measures to ensure peace and security and current international and regional issues.

DPA added that the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Greenable and its European Allies expect the result of the Trump -Putin summit with great nervousness – They are concerned that the talks could lead to an agreement on territorial concessions to Russia, which Kiev has strongly rejected.
