State Representative Tadeu Hassem (Republicans) celebrated the implementation of a modern automated irrigation system that will benefit Cruzeiro do Sul farmers. The project, in the amount of R $ 100,000, was made possible by parliamentary amendment of its own and will have joint execution of the Government of Acre and the Secretariat of Agriculture (Seagri).

The investment will be destined to the Renascer Association of Vila Santa Luzia, including 30 families that cultivate garden vegetables. Technology will reduce manual effort, optimize water use and increase productivity.

“This achievement shows that solid partnerships bring concrete results. With the support of the deputy and Seagri, we were able to advance and offer better conditions for those who live on agriculture,” said Arlindo Pinheiro, leader of the association.
The producer Seu Chiquinho, resident of the community, said he was hopeful with the news. “I never used a system like this, but I’m sure it will make it much easier. Before, it was everything in the arm, spending time and water. Now, I believe production will improve a lot,” he said.

For Tadeu Hassem, the goal is to value work in the field and strengthen family farming in the Juruá Valley. “The biggest reward of our mandate is to see real changes happening. Each resource invested is an opportunity to turn lives,” said the parliamentarian.
