The caress between the former orders of orders Mauro Cid and the reserve colonel Marcelo Câmara, held on Wednesday (14) at the Supreme Court (STF), recorded a moment of tension between Minister Alexandre de Moraes and lawyer Marcus Vinicius de Camargo Figueiredo, who defends the reserve general Mário Fernandes.
According to reports to S.Paulo FolhaMoraes requested that a court security guard would verify if the lawyer was recording the hearing, a measure prohibited by determination of the minister himself.
During the statement, Cid and Câmara cited Mario Fernandes as, who provided for the murder of authorities. The lawyer asked for an order to ask CID if it was possible to bind to the monitoring of the location of Moraes, in late 2022, to the supposed plan of the general.

The minister denied the request, stating that it was not the time for questions by Marcus Vinicius. The defender insisted that the questioning was registered in the file, which led Moraes to say that he should not even participate in the session.
The exchange of words raised the tone in the room. Moraes asked the security guard to confer the lawyer’s cell phone to verify any recording. Marcus Vinicius handed the device and password, and complained of lack of respect. Moraes replied that she also required respect.

Mário Fernandes is a reserve general and a figure cited in STF investigations into the 2022 coup plot.
