Parliamentarians of the National Congress bench embarked on an official mission to Singapore, a country recognized as a world reference in the theme and leader in international rankings such as the International Student Evaluation Program (PISA), prepared by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The trip takes place from 16 to 22 August and is held together between the Mixed Parliamentary Front of Education, presided by Deputy Rafael Brito (MDB-AL), and the Special Commission of the National Education Plan (PNE), chaired by Mrs Tabata Amaral (PSB-SP), with Deputy Moses Rodrigues (Union-CE) as rapporteur.
The objective is to study the model adopted by the local public sector, focusing on four strategic areas: educational policies and goals, quality and evaluation, leadership and functioning of schools.
Parliamentarians also intend to visit schools and talk to local leaders.
