The digital influencer and his husband, Israel Nata Vicente, should be arrested preventively at Deic’s headquarters, on Friday (15), and head to the jail of the municipality of Carapicuíba, in Greater São Paulo, on Saturday (16). Hytalo is investigated by the Public Prosecution Service of Paraíba and the Public Prosecutor’s Office for child sexual exploitation and human trafficking from content produced on social networks. The warrants were issued by the 2nd Bayeux District Court.
The case gained national repercussion after Youtuber complaints about adultization episodes of children and adolescents. Hytalo was banned from the Instagram social network. The husband also had the account disabled after trying to defend Hytalo.
What are the next steps?
The two should undergo an examination of the body of crime at the Forensic Medical Institute and, this Saturday, by custody hearing in Carapicuíba. Then they will be sent to a Provisional Detention Center (CDP) in the city. The couple will be transferred to João Pessoa, at. “Today (Friday), they stay overnight in the traffic chain here. Then they go to Carapicuíba,” says delegate Fernando Davi, head of the 3rd Stelionate Investigation Police Station and Crimes Against Public Faith (DIG).
The defense claims innocence. “Hytalo Santos has always made themselves available to the authorities. They are innocent. I did not want to use the word persecution, but they are people who are suffering a lot. The accusations do not proceed,” said lawyer Fernando Cassimiro.
A small agglomeration – about 25 people – in front of the police station, made up of children and adolescents, asked for the influencer’s release. According to police, eight more people were in the residence in Carapicuíba, all older. The defense states that they were family members of Hytalo.
Still according to the investigators, the couple arrived in Sao Paulo on Thursday (14) and were possibly planning an escape. The lawyers say they were in town to work and rest. The couple did not resist the prison. “We arrived about eight in the morning. We didn’t have to break into the door. They cooperated and were sleeping at the time of the approach,” said Fernando David.
To hold the arrest, the police intelligence service monitored the vehicle used by the couple – a Land Rover – which was parked in front of the mansion in Carapicuíba. “They knew they were being investigated. They were not going to bring smaller and face it. They were almost on the run,” said Deputy Ronaldo Tossunian. Eight cell phones were seized – four with Hytalo and four with Israel. The devices will be expert.
