About Hytalo Santos

Hytalo Santos had been under investigation by the Paraíba Public Prosecution Service since 2024 on suspicion of exploitation of minors and violation of the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA).

The findings, conducted in the civil and criminal spheres, came after anonymous reports via “dial 100” and reports of neighbors on parties with alcoholic beverages and scenes of sensual connotation involving children and adolescents.

The Paraíba Court had already determined the immediate suspension of all Hytalo profiles on social networks, the prohibition of contact with the minors cited in the investigations and the dismantling of their contents.

In addition, search and seizure warrants were fulfilled in their homes, collecting electronics for expert analysis. Adolescent parents are also being investigated for possible omission in the duty to protect minors.

In the quuitant (14), Hytalo’s defense had spoken vehemently denying the accusations, stating that “it always acted within the law” and that all the contents with minors was recorded with “legal authorization and monitoring of those responsible”. He points out that the adolescents involved in the complaints are emancipated.

Debate on adultization

The debate on “adultization” and exploitation of children and adolescents on social networks has gained space in Brazil in recent days, driven by a video of Youtuber Felca. Published on August 6, the almost 50 -minute material that has already surpassed 40 million views, brings several complaints, aiming, among others, the Paraiban influencer Hytalo Santos, accused of using minors in content with sexualized content.

Felca also criticized what she called “algorithm P”, a system that allegedly amplifies the spread of these videos. After the repercussion of his complaints, Felca revealed that he had received threats and said he started using armored car and private security.

Since the beginning of the investigation process, Felca says she has been the victim of internet attacks. He proposed a humanitarian agreement to more than 200 profiles that defame him, requesting donations to institutions to combat children’s exploitation.

In the National Congress, Felca’s complaint boosted the debate, with the mayor, Deputy Hugo Motta (Republicans), promising to guide projects on the subject, and former Minister Cristiane Britto (Republicans) proposing the “Felca Law”.

The Chamber’s Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) has already approved the increase in childhood to child enticement, changing the ECA.

Investigations continue, seeking to clarify allegations of exploration and “adultization” in the digital environment.
