On Wednesday (13 August), the police detained a 44-year-old man in Košice, convicted of the crime of illicit armaments and arms trafficking. The man who is a citizen of the Slovak Republic has so far avoided the onset of imprisonment. TASR informed the spokeswoman of the Presidium of the Police Force Lea Vilhanová.
“The Košice Regional Court issued an order for a sentence for the crime of illicit armaments and arms trafficking and imposed a penalty of 66 months unconditionally in 2024.”Said the police spokeswoman. The man was detained by members of the target search for the Presidium of the Police Force in cooperation with the emergency police department of Košice on the street SNP.
