Company won PPSA dispute and acquired 500,000 barrels of the atapu field, scheduled for boarding in November

A won the selling process spot promoted by (PREAL PETROLEO SA) This Thursday (14.ago.2025) and bought an oil load from the Union of the Campo de Atapu, in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin.

The lot has an estimated volume of 500,000 barrels and expected boarding for the 2nd fortnight of November. This is the first time the company has acquired the Union oil.

The dispute was held at a closed meeting, with opening of offers in real time and possibility of bids in a living voice. Representatives from 6 companies participated: , , , , and prio.

This was the 2nd Sale Spot of PPSA in 2025. In March, the state -owned company traded two loads of 500 thousand barrels of Campo de Itapu. In June, it promoted the Union’s 5th Oil Auction on B3, with the sale of 74.5 million barrels – the largest ever held.

PPSA is responsible for managing the Union portion in pre-salt field sharing contracts. The government has used revenues obtained by selling oil as an additional source to reduce the 2025 tax deficit.
