Spielberg-World Cup leader Marc Marquez has set up the best time during MotoGP training at the Grandberg Grand Prix in Spielberg. In 1: 28.117 minutes, the Ducati pilot was 0.228 seconds faster than super talent Pedro Acosta, which as the second tendency of KTM underpinned the start of the home weekend. The Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), who won the recent three editions in Styria, took third place on Friday in front of Alex Marquez (+0,268).
