A chest truck was completely destroyed by a fire in the late afternoon of Friday (15) on BR-364, near the district of Jaci Paraná, in Porto Velho. The vehicle was standing on the highway when the flames began to spread rapidly, fully consuming the cabin and the body.

The Fire Department was called and worked to control the fire, while the Federal Highway Police (PRF) was on site to ensure the safety of the area. Despite the intensity of the fire, traffic on the highway did not have to be interrupted.
The cause of the incident is still unknown. The competent authorities will investigate the case and conduct an expertise to determine the origin of the fire.
