You still have to puzzle about a lot of what US President Donald Trump and Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin have discussed in Alaska for three hours. The statements of the two politicians after their encounter were extremely vague. But so much is clear: Putin has not offered a ceasefire in Ukraine. Nevertheless, Russia’s ruler can continue his brutal war against the neighboring country with impunity. Trump didn’t even put the word “sanctions” in her mouth.
