In a speech at an event in RN, former first lady and president of PL Woman classified the petista management as a ‘union of criminals, corrupt, to destroy our nation’
Former first lady and president of PL Mulher, called President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) “Penguage” in a speech in Rio Grande do Norte and said former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) will return to the presidency, despite being under house arrest and ineligible.
Michelle participated in the closing of a PL seminar in Natal, on Saturday (16), and was presented as one of the stars of the event, making the last speech, along with party leaders, such as the national president of the subtitle, Valdemar Costa Neto, and the leader of the Senate opposition, Rogério Marinho (PL-RN).
The PL tries to expand space in the Northeast, historically more sympathetic to Lula, to elect more parliamentarians, governors and raise votes for a presidential candidacy that is not yet defined. Michelle is pointed out as a possible candidate in the absence of Bolsonaro in the election, but avoids putting herself as a postulant to office.
Two weeks ago, an Atlasintel/Bloomberg survey showed that Lula has 48.5% of presidency voting intentions in 2026, in a scenario with Michelle as a candidate, which appears with 29.7%. In the speech, she directed criticism of the Lula administration, classifying petista management as a “union of corrupt criminals to destroy our nation.”
“A man who cuts a BPC, a man who takes food out of the dish, a man who by evil to supply water and then say: God is so good that he left the Northeast people without water to bring me as Salvador to bring water to the people,” said the former first lady. “Liar, cachaceiro, ping, irresponsible. That’s what he is.”
Speaking of the BPC (continued benefit), Michelle referred to the Lula government project that limited access to the benefit, paid to the elderly and people with low -income disabilities. Congress loosened the project. While Michelle was speaking, Bolsonaro is under house arrest in Brasilia. This Saturday (16), he left each to perform medical examinations in a hospital in the federal capital.
“My husband would like to be here, he cannot, because he is under house arrest, which saddens us a lot. I say he was taken from the shot,” said Michelle. “For the presidency there is a name and surname: It’s Jair Messias Bolsonaro. He’s going back, he’s going back. Justice will be done.”
