The idea that “everyone has to look the same” no longer makes sense to many people

Slow beauty, quiet beautyundetectable beauty… These terms are not in fashion for nothing. The search for has moved away from artificial and excessive standards and approximately a more natural and individualized ideal. The idea that “everyone has to look the same” no longer makes sense to many people who have valued their own characteristics. For dermatologist Renata Primavera, member of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology and Speaker of Rennova, this movement represents a breakthrough. “People are looking for naturalness. Each one has their beauty and this is what should be valued,” he says.

Renata believes that the role of guiding the patient for healthy aging, respecting the boundaries of the body. “I think the doctor’s role is to show the patient how we can manage aging in a beautiful, elegant, physiological way. Because, of course, we will all get older, but we have the option of getting old, healthy and improving skin quality.”

This most conscious approach has been strengthened with the advancement of aesthetic medicine, which offers increasingly safe and effective products. Among the latest resources is the use of more slow but naturally acting biostimulators. “In Brazil, a new particle of calcium hydroxyapatite has now arrived, which is Diamond Intense – a fantastic substance that has this regeneration capacity. At the end of last year, we also had the launch of PLLA, the 150 mg Eleva, very good for those looking for naturalness. It helps both in volume and skin quality.”

This new generation of treatments has gained even more relevance with the popularization of fast -weighting medicines, such as semaglutide -based ones. “Everyone loses a lot in a short time. The body looks beautiful, but what about the face? Falls, lose weight, withered! So these treatments adapt to the patient’s metabolism and are excellent for those who want a gradual and without OverfillerWithout that super inflated face, ”points out Renata Spring. Another positive point is that these treatments need not be repeated frequently.

Brazilian Medical Study

The consolidation of biostimulators as a trend in aesthetic treatments is not only a market perception, but also a reflection of rigorous clinical studies. Dermatologist Bruna Bravo, head of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology, participated in an important research published in one of the world’s dermatology scientific journals, JDC – Journal of Cosmetic Dermatologywhich evaluated the safety and satisfaction of patients treated with collagen biostimulator Rennova Elleva (based on PLLA). “It was a controlled study, very well designed, with follow -up of 52 patients. It is one of the most relevant publications of my career,” says the doctor, who has been in dermatology for 20 years and is also dedicated to medical education.

The research pointed out that the collagen formation peak occurs on average after three months, but many patients already reported significant improvement in just one month of application. “The satisfaction was kept even after 150 days, which is considerable time. The results were natural and prolonged, which reinforces the effectiveness of treatment,” he explains. According to her, the biostimulator acts by stimulating the cells responsible for the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, with progressive effect and without the stigma of an artificial result.

This search for naturalness is in fashion and gets names like slow beauty Or lush beauty, but today we talk about “undetectable beauty”-an ideal of self-care in which treatment is perceived more by the patient’s well-being than for visible and excessive changes. “The excess of the procedures came and now we are living the calm. The patient no longer wants to leave the office with the same chin, same size of lips from everyone. He wants a natural result and respecting his individuality and that is where the biostimulator fits perfectly,” says Bruna.

In Brazil, which is at the forefront of aesthetic treatments, the two main biostimulators in use are the based on PLLA and the calcium hydroxyapatite, with indications that vary according to the patient’s profile and treatment objectives. “It is a medical choice, technique. PLLA ‘spreads’ better by face and has more global effect. Hydroxyapatite is denser, for more local stimulus and indicated for areas that require greater definition,” he explains. According to Bruna, the biostimulator can already be considered the procedure of the time – and here to stay. “Today we talk about a consecrated tripod in aesthetics: botulinum toxin, filler and biostimulator. The techniques have been perfected and the results are consistent and safe.” The study was presented at the Congress of Dermatological Surgery in Salvador.
