Party states that Cristina Yukiko Kusahara Gomes articulated an illegal criminal investigation network; Demand cites report on possible irregular access to biometric data from the TSE

The party filed on Thursday (14.2025) at the Supreme Court (STF) a request to open disciplinary administrative proceedings against Cristina Yukiko Kusuhara Gomes, chief of staff of Minister Alexandre de Moraes. This is a (PDF – 2 MB).

According to the caption, the servant acted illegitimately in 2022 and transformed the (special advice on coping with misinformation), linked to the TSE (Superior Electoral Court), into a criminal investigation structure without legal basis against 8 January.

The request cites one published on August 4. According to this document, Moraes Offices – both in the TSE, a court that presided over, and in the Supreme Court – irregularly accessed biometric data and social networking information to investigate participants in the invasion of buildings of the three powers.

The Civilization Works report features conversations that would be from the former Moraes advisor at TSE Eduardo Tagliaferro with other judges and assistants of the minister, including Cristina Kusuhara. The messages suggest that TSE employees would have conducted unofficial investigations into people detained at January 2023 events. Read more.

Part of the opposition calls this case of Vaza Toga, as they are leaks of conversations of members of the judiciary who put the findings about an attempt to coup in 2022 and 2023.

To the Poder360André Marsiglia, one of the 3 lawyers who wrote the new request, said he hoped measures against all the magistrates who participated in the department. “They are not judges, they are people who have acted without any exemption, consciously, conniving and made the right to political thinking of those defendants a crime”he said.

Lawyers Sebastião Coelho and Ana Carolina Sponza also wrote the request.

Also according to the request of the new, the cabinet officials violated Law 8.112/1990, which governs federal public servants. The acronym asks Kusahara to be fired at the end of the process, and states that the Supreme Court President Luís Roberto Barroso has the competence to establish the process.

“Society needs to know if the Federal Supreme Court will continue conniving in the face of these illegalities, or will take action,” said Eduardo Ribeiro, party president.
