This proposal polarizes. By the end of the assessment phase on Friday evening, over 500 statements have been received on the draft for an electricity management law, which Minister of Economics Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer (ÖVP) presented. But what is “the largest electricity market reform for 20 years” (State Secretary Elisabeth Zehetner, also ÖVP), is about significant criticism somewhere else. This was mainly ensured by the planned feed-in tariffs for producers, the top cap for photovoltaic and wind systems and a planned legal price change right.
