After a collision with a vehicle at the railway crossing, the train derailed and overturned to the side. Immediately after the collision, the police did not inform about its details or the severity of the injuries. The authorities reported that out of 95 passengers on board the train, one died and several others suffered injuries. According to the local police, the two injured passengers were taken to the hospital by a helicopter.
In the statement, the Danish national rail carrier DSB announced that it suspended all its connections between Kliplev and Tinglev near the Danish-German border.
