At least 1,760 Palestinians have been killed by the end of May at the end of May, most of the Israeli army fire while looking for humanitarian aid, said its Human Rights Office today for the Palestinian enclave.
According to Gaza Civil Protection spokesman Mahmoud Basal, 23 people were also killed today in Israeli raids on the Palestinian enclave, of which 12 who were expecting humanitarian aid.
Between May 27 and August 13, the office “recorded at least 1,760 Palestinians killed in search of help: 994 near facilities by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF, supported by the US and Israel) and 766 along the routes followed by the carriers.”
“These murders, most of them, were committed by the Israeli army,” says the UN agency, which “knows about the presence of other armed elements in the same areas”, but states that “it has no information to indicate their involvement in these murders”.
This new report represents an increase of several hundred victims over two weeks compared to the latest report announced on August 1 by the same UN office, which spoke of at least 1,373 Palestinians killed under the same circumstances.
