The Minas Gerais Civil Police stated that the weapon used to kill Gari Laudemir de Souza Fernandes, 44, belonged to delegate Ana Paula Balbino Nogueirawife of businessman René da Silva Nogueira Junior, 47.
According to investigation, the delegate handed over the .380 caliber pistol for use allowed to the police, and said. She also said she was unaware of the crime.

René da Silva Nogueira Júnior, businessman and business director of a food network, was arrested in the act by the Civil Police for being the main suspect of murdering Gari Laudemir de Souza Fernandes, on the morning of last Monday (11) in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.
The crime happened around 9:03 am at Modestina de Souza Street, Vista Alegre neighborhood. According to the Military Police, Laudemir worked in waste collection when René’s vehicle – identified as a gray BYD – stopped in the opposite direction to the truck and the driver was annoyed, claiming that the vehicle hindered traffic.
Armed, the businessman pointed the gun to the truck driver and threatened to “face it.”
According to the witnesses, as he surpassed the truck, René landed with his gun in hand, dropped the charger, put it back, managed and fired at the sweeper. The shot reached the rib area on the right side, crossed the body and lodged in the left forearm.
René was in a gym after the crime when he was located and arrested. He was taken to the police station, where he remains at the disposal of justice.
