Fernanda Gentil is being disputed in the market. With experiments at Globo and Cazétv, the host had proposals from her two “old houses”, but chose to return to the streaming channel, where she worked during the year 2024.
According to information from Gabriel Vaquer of Folha de S. Paulo column F5, Fernanda had an agreement sent to be part of GE TV, Globo sports project that will be launched in September on YouTube.
However, Cazétv “crossed” the negotiation, offering better conditions in the presenter’s contract. The column states that Fernanda agreed a contract with the channel until 2028.
In addition to the long contract, Fernanda would have enjoyed being released to maintain her other work. One of them is an agreement with FIFA to produce content, which Globo would prefer to terminate.
The host also maintains a YouTube channel with 187,000 followers, and partnerships with Google.

Ge TV: Who was hired
Four big names of competitors go to GE TV: TNT Sports narrator Jorge Iggor, TNT Sports commentator Bruno Formiga, ESPN host Mariana Spinelli and Band and Prime Video commentator Luana Maluf.
Mariana Spinelli even said goodbye to ESPN’s newsroom on Tuesday (08/13).
The channel will also feature Fred Bruno, host of Globo Esporte and former disregard, to bring the project closer to the new generation of spectators. Fred has been in Grupo Globo since August 2024.
GE TV: What games will you pass on the channel?
Globo’s project will start with heavy competitions. The station will put Libertadores on GE TV in the quarterfinals. The games available on GE TV will be the same as being aired on open TV. GE TV on YouTube’s broadcast team will be different from the open TV team.
In addition to the confirmed broadcasts of some World Cup and Libertadores qualifiers, GE TV negotiates with NFL and should also invest in Olympic sports.
Volleyball Superleague is sent to be displayed on the new project. The event grid is still being assembled completely.
