Thousands of protesters went down the streets in downtown Tel Aviv yesterday, demanding the end of the war in Gaza and reaching an agreement to release the hostages held by.
Thousands of people responded to the call of the Congenital Hostage forum, according to a DPA reporter, Jerusalem and Berceva.
“Tomorrow we will drive the country to freeze,” Einav Zangauker, whose son, Matan, is one of the about 20 living hostages still held in the Gaza Strip. Zanguucker was referring to a nationwide strike in Israel today.
“And we will not stop tomorrow, we will not wait for (Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu to end the war, we will get what is rightfully owned by us,” Janguucker continued.
According to the Jewish calendar, Sunday is the first working day of the week in Israel.
To expand the war to Gaza with new military operations rather than sign an agreement on the return of hostages, Times of Israel said.
Israel estimates that under the possession of Hamas are the corpses of about 30 people abducted in the Gaza Strip in addition to the living hostages.
