Sporting goes to the field for the second round of the Portuguese Championship against Arouca, this Sunday (17/08), at 16:30 (Brasilia). The duel will be at José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon and will be broadcast by ESPN and Disney+.
The lions beat Casa Pia, away from home, at the debut of the Portuguese Championship, 2-0. Francisco Trincão and Hjulmand were the authors of Sporting’s goals.
Arouca also started the Portuguese championship with triumph. The team beat AVS 3-1 at home. Alfonso Trezza twice, and Djouahra scored for the team while Nenê discounted for AVS.

Sporting has the embezzlement of defender Ousmane Diomande and midfielders Daniel Bragança and Maxi Araújo, all injured.
Coach Rui Borges should bring to the field a team similar to what Casa Pia won at the Portuguese debut, only with the departure of Diomande for the entrance of Debast.
