The Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority -which governs in parts of occupied West Bank -, Mohamed Mustafa, will begin an official visit to Egypt on Sunday, August 17, the official Palestinian Wafa agency Wafa reported.
During his stay, the Head of Palestinian Government will meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, with whom he will address the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the efforts of Cairo to reach a high fire in the enclave, subjected for more than twenty months to an Israeli military offensive, which has already killed more than 61,000 Palestinians.
According to Wafa, Mustafa and Abdelatty will offer on Monday, August 18 a joint press conference in the Rafah border crossing, which connects Egypt with Gaza and remains closed since the Israeli forces occupied.
At the end of July, Mustafa said that Palestine is willing to receive an “International Arab Support Force” that contributes to guaranteeing stability and facilitating fire in the strip.
