Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) again attacking Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Court (STF), after the publication of an interview given by the magistrate to the American newspaper The Washington Post, on Monday (18).
In his profile on social network X, the parliamentarian called Moraes “psychopath” and said the minister “challenges Trump”, in reference to recent to the magistrate.
“Lula will continue to talk nonsense. Moraes will always redouble the bet because he is a psychopath,” wrote former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) son.

In the interview with the Washington Post, Moraes stated that.
“There is no possibility of retreating a millimeter. We will do what is right: we will receive the accusation, we will analyze the evidence. And whoever has to be condemned will be condemned. And whoever has to be acquitted will be acquitted,” he said.
The minister was the target of US sanctions based on magnitsky law on the grounds that he would be. Punishments include the blockade of goods in US territory and the prohibition of transactions with US companies or citizens.

Moraes countered criticism, saying that decisions follow due process of law and that his performance seeks to protect democracy. “Brazil has been infected with the disease of autocracy. Our role is to apply the vaccine. As long as there is need, investigations will continue,” he said.
Propagator of “false narratives”
During the interview, the minister mentioned Eduardo Bolsonaro when talking about the international disinformation campaign that, he said, contributed to diplomatic wear with the United States.
The deputy has been in the US since February and has been openly acted for sanctions to Brazilian authorities, a movement that has gained strength after Trump quotes Bolsonaro as a “persecution victim” by announcing the 50% tariff over Brazilian products.

“These false narratives eventually poisoned the relationship [entre Brasil e EUA] – False narratives supported by disinformation widespread by these people on social networks, ”said Moraes.“ What we need to do, and what Brazil is doing, is to clarify the facts. ”
Eduardo had already referred to Moraes as “Toga Gangster” on other occasions, and is investigated in inquiries that are being processed in the STF about misinformation and incitement against the institutions.
