“Well – since I can’t become queen, I will just be a judge,” Victoria McCloud is said to have said at the age of five. And so it came too. The now 55-year-old became the first trans woman who brought it to the judge of the Supreme Court in Great Britain-the only second woman in this office. She resigned a year ago and is now the plaintiff on the other side of the judge’s bank: McCloud wants to contest the recent judgment of the Supreme Court to the definition of “organic gender” before the European Court of Human Rights.
