O IBC-Br (Economic activity index) fell 0.10% in June, the BC (Central Bank) said on Monday (18). In the second quarter of 2025, the growth of the indicator, considered the “preview” of GDP (Gross Domestic Product), accumulates high of 0.3%.
The projection of economic activity came below the expected market and surprised by the decline. Reuters was expected to be high 0.05% for the month’s indicator.
Among the factors that weighed the most for the result are agriculture (-2.3%) and industry (-0.1%). The indicators of services and taxes advanced 0.1%.
