More than 200,000 people, according to police estimates, have concentrated on Tel Aviv and in full national strike to demand the prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to give priority to the lives of hostages before starting a new one and, according to the army, “imminent”, offensive to occupy the city of Gaza in an operation that could mean his death sentence.
After a morning of disturbances with dozens of detainees in the city, the families and the leader of the opposition, Yair Lapid, have champion a march knowing that this morning Netanyahu has reiterated that the operation will not suspend under any circumstances and that the strike, of an informal nature, but seconded by dozens of organizations and universities, moves away the possibility of bringing alive at the 20 Palestinian militias.
The organizers, the Hostage Families Forum, has raised assistance estimates up to half a million people in Tel Aviv, for a million in total counting other concentrations in the rest of the country, but the authorities have not confirmed this assessment.
After the massive demonstration for the hostages in Tel Aviv, hundreds of people moved to the nearby headquarters of the Likud party of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where they lit a bonfire and faced the police, without at the moment there are figures on injured or detained.
The plan, approved by the Israel Security Cabinet earlier this month, provides for the capture of the city of Gaza and the central refugee camps to dismantle the remaining bastions of Hamas in the Palestinian territory devastated by the war.

“Israel’s defense forces will display all their abilities, in land, air and sea, to attack Hamas with forcefulness,” added Zamir, who according to the Israeli national media had been opposite to the operation by the wear of the Israeli troops during the conflict.
