According to FS CEO Rafael Abud, most of the company’s debt when talking about funding comes from the capital market, through agribusiness certificate emissions (CRAS), for example. The statement was made in the podcast Business root, its road between the countryside and Faria Lima, a partnership between Infoomoney and The Agribiz.

In recent years, he recalled Abud, the capital market has democratized access to this type of financial product, especially when it has managed to reach the individual investor more broadly – not just the institutional. “So we also enjoyed this movement,” he said.

This type of emission has also been done in the international market. And the company still maintains bilateral relationships with banks in this period, but this has been a smaller slice for the brand.

About promotion banks, the CEO commented that, at this moment, there is, in his assessment, a vision of government to expand this type of credit. The bottleneck in this type of case, however, is that, as everything ends up being linked to policies at the moment, the risk of this possibility being lost exists – and is not low.

‘This is another accordion. Sometimes it expands. Sometimes it reduces, ”he concludes.
