A, linked to, has partnered with Sesc São Paulo to produce a national survey on the socioeconomic condition of Brazilian women.
It will be the third edition, after similar surveys conducted in 2001 and 2010. In the new research, there will be two phases: one qualitative, with 65 cisgender and transgender women, and another quantitative, with 1,221 men and 2,440 women from all over the country.
The data collected so far point to an increase in inequalities and female impoverishment in the last decade. The results are expected to be released next month.
