The exchange between Zelenski and the journalist who recriminated his clothing in February: "I have changed and you do not"

The US president, Donald, Volodimir Zelenski, in the White House, where both celebrate a crucial meeting to try to end the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine in February 2022.

Before, however, they have answered the questions of the press in the Oval Office, where the conservative journalist Brian Glenn has not been missing, who in the meeting between the leaders last February in the same scenario criticized Zelenski for not dressing in a suit.

This Monday, however, the exchange has been different and some jokes have been directed where they have indicated that, on this second time, the Ukrainian has come with a jacket and black shirt during his bilateral encounter with his American counterpart.

“President looks fantastic in that suit,” said Glenn, remembering that on February 28, at his last bilateral meeting in Washington, both starred in a tense moment that ended up derailing the meeting in front of the cameras and led to suspend the entire subsequent agenda.

Zelenski answered him: “I see that you have the same suit as the last time we saw each other. I have changed and you do not.” For this meeting, the Ukrainian has thus abandoned his traditional black or military green clothing.

It is expected that during the meeting with Zelenski, Trump transmits the conditions proposed to achieve peace by the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, at the Alaska meeting on Friday, including a possible assignment of Ukrainian territory invaded by Russia, as well as security guarantees to kyiv outside the NATO umbrella.
