The eldest son of the Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit has been accused of several crimes including rape, The prosecutor Sturla Henriksbö announced on Monday. Informed DPA, writes TASR.

These accusations came about a year after the first suspicions of the eldest son of Crown Princess Marius Borg Höiby committed violence. This currently 28-year-old man is facing now a total of 32 allegations including rape and serious sexual offenses. According to the prosecutor, his trial is likely to begin in mid -January 2026. He faces a term of imprisonment of up to ten years.
Marius Borg Höiby (28) Matte-Marit Höiby was born of a relationship with Morten Borg who She had a few years before her marriage with the Norwegian Crown Prince Haakon. Although Höiby is a family member, It has no title and does not hold up to any public function.
Borg Höiby was detained on August 4, 2024 after a quarrel in an apartment in Oslo. Subsequently, he was accused of bodily harm to his girlfriend’s health. During the investigation, the police accused him of other crimes.
