Ukrainian President is received this Monday at the White House and is accompanied by Ursula Von Der Leyen of the Secretary General of Nato and the leaders of France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland and Italy
Donald Trump said his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky -that the US president will receive today -could end the war with Russia “almost immediately”, but Kiev will not recover to Crimea or enter Nato.
“Ukrainian President Zelensky can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants, or can continue to fight. Remember how it all started. There is no chance of recovering the crime provided by Obama (12 years ago, without a single shot) and there is no chance that Ukraine entered the NAT,” wrote the president of the United States on his social network, Truth Social.
In turn, the Ukrainian President has known that he is already in Washington and told Donald Trump that he wants to end the war “quickly,” but with a “lasting peace,” hours before being received by the US homologist in Washington.
“We all have the deep desire to end this war quickly and feasiblely. And peace must be lasting,” wrote Zelensky on social network X in a clear response to Donald Trump, which he had recently published on his social network, Truth Social, that the Ukrainian President can end the war with Russia “almost immediately.”
Zelensky is expected to be received on Monday by Trump in the White House, where the Ukrainian head of state will arrive accompanied by the European allies representing the ‘coalition of the wills’, namely the chairman of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen, and the leaders of France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland and Italy, as well as the Atlantic covenant secretary.
