The president of the United States, announced on Monday that he will take the movement to end the vote by mail, thus resuming one of his main obsessions after losing the 2020 presidential elections, a defeat he never admitted. “I will lead a movement to eliminate the vote by correspondence, and since we are in this, also the highly ‘inaccurate’ and controversial highly ‘voting machines, which cost ten times more than the needy and sophisticated watermark, which is faster and leaves no doubt (…) about who won and who lost the elections,” Trump wrote in a long publication on his social truth platform. In the US, the organization of elections is the responsibility of the states, while Congress establishes a milestone. But Trump questions this idea and, according to him, the authority of the Federal State prevails over that of states.
