This action has temporarily disrupted oil supplies to Slovakia, while the fire damaged important infrastructure.

The Ukrainian army confirmed that it had an attack on the gas station in the Russian Tambov region, which led to interrupting the transport of oil through the Druzhba pipeline and Slovakia. TASR reports this according to Sky News report.

The Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó had previously informed about the attack, who described it as unacceptable and outrageous, as he said the energy security of Hungary was the target. His Ukrainian counterpart Andriy Sybiha then told him to address complaints about similar matters to “his friends” in Russia, which more than three occurred to Ukraine and not Kiev before.

Fire at the station

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Telegram wrote that Ukrainian forces, including the unmanned components of the unmanned systems on Monday, attacked Nikočskoje in the Tambov region, which participates in the supply of Russian occupation forces in Ukraine. As a result of the intervention, according to the statement, a fire broke out in the facility, causing a complete stopping of oil supplies through the companion.

The Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic Denisa Saková (Voice-SD) said that her department is registering the suspension of the supply of Russian oil pipeline Druzhba and expects the disorder to be removed by the Russian party in the coming days. The reason for the failure is, in her words, damage to the transformer station, and in the last seven days it is already the second damage to the Druzhba pipeline infrastructure in Russia. According to her, the security of supply of Slovakia and the region is not endangered.
