With an investment of R $ 105 million, Government starts works of the Rio Branco Road Arch

The Government of Acre, through the Deracre (Department of Roads, Waterway Infrastructure and Airport), signs on Monday (18) the order of service for the beginning of three lots of works of the Rio Branco Arc. The ceremony features the presence of Governor Gladson Cameli and Deracre’s president, Sula Ximenes.

The project is part of the Acre State Infrastructure and Sanitation Program (Proisa) and will have a total investment of R $ 105 million, from external credit operation with the Financial Fund for the development of the Silver Basin (Fonplata) and a contribution of R $ 38 million via parliamentary amendment.

According to Governor Gladson Cameli, the work reinforces the commitment of management to the execution of strategic projects for the population. “This is the year of executing. Our goal is to ensure the presence of the state close to the Acreans and Acrean, fulfilling what is in our Constitution,” he said.

Deracre’s president, Sula Ximenes, highlighted the benefits that the road arc will bring to the capital. “With the archery, the works will take the heavy traffic from the center, improve safety and make life easier for those who live and work in the city. It is an investment in the gift that will generate benefits for the entire population in the future,” he said.

The project foresees the paving of four sections, totaling 27.78 kilometers, and the construction of the 6th Bridge over the Acre River, with 326 meters long, currently in the bidding phase.

The first stage includes: stretch between the junction of the Quixadá road and the junction with the state highway AC-010, with 4,142 meters; Excerpt between the bridge over the Acre River and the junction with the Quixadá Road, with 6,273 meters; and stretch between BR-364 (Rio Branco substation) and the bridge over the Acre River, with 6,167 meters.
