Four young people starred in an unusual escape in Northampton, England, after having dinner at the Indian restaurant Saffron and leaving behind an account of 228 euros. The episode, which took place on August 4, was captured by the security cameras and quickly became viral.
The images show the group to wait for an employee to move away from the table to get up discreetly. Seconds later, they began to run towards the exit, abandoning the space without paying.
The owner of the restaurant, already facing a 30% break in the business, regrets: “This type of behavior is not just theft, harms small businesses and the entire local community.”
In order to alert other traders, the restaurant shared the recording on social networks, asking for help in identifying the four young people. The case has already been delivered to the police.
