If there is one thing that represents Brazil, it is our beloved caramel dog. Therefore, nothing fairer than a movie in honor of him. Netflix released the poster and debut date of the movie “Caramel”, with and the puppy peanuts and we can already expect an exciting and full of love production.
In the movie, Pedro (Rafael Vitti) is a stubborn chef who is about to realize his dream of leading a restaurant when an unexpected diagnosis turns everything upside down. With the help of a lovely caramel mutt, he embarks on a touching journey of rediscovery and connection, finding meaning and inspiration in the now-and a friendship for life.
Directed by Diego Freitas (after the universe), “Caramel” also brings in the cast Arianne Botelho, Noemia Oliveira, Ademara, Kelzy Ecard, Bruno Vinicius, Roger Gobeth and Olivia Araújo, as well as Cristina Pereira, Carolina Ferraz, and a special participation by chef Pala Carosella.
Produced by Migdal Filmes in its first partnership with A, the feature screenplay is signed by Diego Freitas (original idea), Rod Azevedo and Vitor Brandt, with collaboration by Carolina Castro and consulting of Marcelo Saback. The film also features animal coach Luis Stars, also responsible for animal welfare on set, as well as the consultancy of American coach Mike Miliotti (Garfield-The Movie).
