Show fight becomes attraction and audiences prefer to film instead of helping; LOOK

During an show held this weekend, an episode of violence caught the public’s attention. Two men got involved in a fight in the middle of the audience and the scene quickly spread on social networks. In the video, which circulates in local messaging and profile applications, you can hear people encouraging confusion with phrases such as “picks it up”, while others just filmed, without trying to intervene or trigger the security of the event.

The images show that instead of separating the fight or seeking immediate help, most present preferred to register the scene with their cell phones. This behavior, increasingly common in conflict situations, raises questions about what extent the search for exclusive records and viralizing social networks is overlapping the sense of responsibility and solidarity.

The confusion only ended after the intervention of employees of the event, who removed those involved from the scene. There is no information if anyone was seriously injured or if there was a police record. The case, however, rekindles the debate on the trivialization of violence in public spaces and the posture of those who prefer to film instead of acting in the face of risk situations.
