The presidential office reported on Tuesday in a statement that Lee will intervene in the ‘K-Pop: The Next Chapter’ (K-POP: The next chapter), which will be broadcast on August 20 at 5:00 p.m. local time (8:00 GMT) by the South Korean Canal Arirang TV.
The fact that the transmission will be in English indicates an objective of reach to international audiences.
“The program seeks to analyze the world position that the K-POP has reached, as well as its ability to expand and new possibilities,” the presidential office explained. He added that shared ideas will serve as a reference to define the future direction of cultural policies.
