Pancakes in Georgian are a dish that you can easily do after arriving at home. The recipe is simple and the necessary products are easily available in Poland.
The mild climate and various terrain means that in traditional Georgian cuisine it is primarily reached for natural and local products. They are grown in fertile valleys eggplant, peppers, tomatoesand bred in mountain halls Sheep, giving mutton and milk – being the basis for various cheese. From a trip to Georgia, I brought a recipe with a stuffing reminiscent of the Ruthenian dumplings. The combination of sweet and delicate cake with a slightly sharp and dry filling is insane. When I met the recipe, I was surprised by its simplicity. After all, the stuffing of Russian dumplings is well known to us, But in the pancake dough, it tastes completely different.
The recipe for Georgian pancakes is very easy. Their preparation It’s worth starting with a stuffing. When it is ready, you can easily fry pancakes. You need to prepare this dish:
- half a glass of milk,
- half a glass of water,
- eggs,
- soli,
- 2 tablespoons of oil.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- 3 larger potato arts,
- 25 dag of cottage cheese,
- onion,
- pepper and salt,
- To pour cream or Greek yogurt.
How to prepare pancakes in Georgian?
- Peel and cook the potatoes.
- Cross the cheese with potatoes through the press.
- Cut the onion, cut, dice and fry in a pan. Then add to potatoes and cheese.
- Mix the stuffing and season with salt and pepper.
- Mix milk, water, egg, oil and salt in a bowl until you get a smooth flowing mass.

- Finally, stuffed pancakes should be frying gently in a pan so that the dough gains a crunchy crust.
