Vienna – Christian Prates won the Austrian Sports Journalist Prize 2025. The ORF TV editor was honored for a contribution about motorsport Matthias Walkner on Tuesday in Vienna in the presence of sports secretary Michaela Schmidt. The prize is awarded by Sports Media Austria (SMA), the association of the Austrian sports journalists, and sponsored by Coca Cola with 2,000 euros.
