The State Nature Conservation (ŠOP) of the Slovak Republic triggers a brown bear monitoring in order to estimate the size of the beast population in Slovakia. File or coat of bears want to collect conservationists together with hunters and foresters, samples will be analyzed by DNA analyzes. Initial results are expected by 12 months. At a press conference in Banská Bystrica, the State Secretary of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic Filip Kuffa informed about it on Wednesday.
