O denied the release request of the influencer and her husband, Israel Nata Vicente, who had been arrested preventively. The defense appealed to the Superior Court, but the decision to keep the arrest was upheld by Minister Rogerio Schietti. According to the decision, the arrest was considered duly substantiated, with indications of serious crimes, including the production and dissemination of sexualized material involving adolescents.

The defense of Hytalo Santos argued that the arrest was irregular, as the statements were not submitted to the contradictory, and denied the risk of escape, which had been appointed by the court. The couple left their residence in Paraíba and moved to Carapicuíba, Greater São Paulo, where they were arrested last Friday.

The minister, in his assessment, stressed that there was already an investigation ongoing by the prosecutor even before the case gains national repercussion, indicating that there is sufficient probative material against the couple. Hytalo and Israel were transferred to the Pinheiros Provisional Detention Center in São Paulo, and await the transfer to Paraíba, which should occur soon.

In response to the repercussion of the Hytalo Santos case and the complaints made by the Felca influencer, the House of Representatives approved, in an urgent basis, a bill aimed at combating adultization and exploiting the image of children and adolescents on social networks. The approval of the urgent regime occurred symbolically, without nominal voting records, which generated criticism of the opposition by an alleged attempt of censorship. The mayor, Hugo Motta, however, stressed that the issue is a priority and that a general commission will be held on Wednesday to discuss the issue.

The bill had already been approved in the Senate and was shelved in the House. The recent mobilization of public opinion has accelerated the processing of the proposal, which will now be analyzed in the plenary. The goal is to create stricter mechanisms to protect minors in the digital environment.
