The Viennese doctor Christian Fiala does not give up. The gynecologist wants to get out of the Prevention and Pension System of the Vienna Medical Association, which is financed into the welfare fund by paying the doctors. In short, he argues that the welfare fund would put its money poorly and that the members of the Medical Association “would be better advised if they were kept their contributions under the proverbial head pad”, as he put it in a complaint against a contribution prescription by the welfare fund. He also defends himself against compulsory membership. In the negotiation before the Vienna Administrative Court, he asked that he should be decided by his own money and enable him to get out of the fund.
