Antony’s future remains undefined. The only certainty is that the Brazilian will not play for Manchester United. Former Paulo is part of a list of players that coach Rubén Amorim does not want to tell more about his cast.
The main suitor to rely on Antony’s services is currently Real Betis, a club for which the player was loaned in January of last season and lived a kind of reunion with the good football presented at the time of Sao Paulo and Ajax.
Both parties are interested in a reunion, however, Spanish team coach Manuel Pellegrini revealed a “lock” for negotiations to advance.
– I didn’t talk to him (Antony). Everyone knows that he was very comfortable here and surely he wants to come back. But it should also decide (about the transfer) the owner of the pass, Manchester United – said.
Pellegrini did not detail what the reason for United’s indecision would be exactly the reason. Red Devils would be speculated would be looking for at least 35 million euros to sell Antony definitively. Remember that by 2022 the English club paid 95 million euros for the player.
According to sources, Antony would have already rejected proposals from Arab football and Brazilian clubs, who want to repatriate it.
