Velcro salad is an ideal dish in its simplicity, taste and health -promoting properties. It is like a breath of freshness on a plate, perfect for every season of the year. White turnip, full of delicate crunchiness, is the basis of this saladoffering subtle, slightly spicy tastewhich perfectly harmonizes with herbs – fresh dill and chives refresh and add notes of fresh taste.
The whole is complemented by a light dressing prepared on the basis of rapeseed oil and white wine vinegar, which wonderfully emphasizes the natural taste of the Velcro. This is a great addition to main dishes – From grilled meat, through fish, to vegetarian dishes. Velcro salad will also be great as a light snack or a healthy proposal for lunch. Its preparation is extremely simple and fast, which makes it an ideal choice for people who value time.
Ingredients:
- 300 g of white Velcro,
- 1/4 bunch of dill,
- 3 tablespoons of chives,
- 2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil,
- a tablespoon of white wine vinegar,
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
Method of performance:
Peel and grate the Velcro on a large grater. You can also cut it into thin slices on mandoline.
In a separate bowl, combine vinegar with oil and spices, mix.
Pour the white Velcro with the prepared sauce and mix thoroughly.
Sprinkle with a curb salad with chopped dill and chives.
Put the dish in the fridge for at least an hour. Serve cold. Store the remains in the fridge for a maximum of 3 days.
